Q: I have a concern/question about an
issue relating to a common element of our community. How do I
address it?
A: Please address your questions and concerns to Dan Galletti at
Merit Property Management. Dan and his team manage the day-to-day
operations of the Village and HCCC289. Questions and concerns should
be in writing. Dan will involve the board as required - immediately
for anything considered urgent - or at our monthly board of directors
meeting. You will receive an answer in writing.
Q: Can I store my green bin or
garbage cans at the front or side of my unit?
A: To keep our community looking as attractive and welcoming as
possible, we ask that all refuse containers,
green bins included, be placed to the rear of the unit. Triplex
units have specially-designed garages for green bin storage.
Owners of triplex units may also want to talk to their
neighbours about crossing exclusive-use areas if they wish to
store containers at the rear of the unit.
Q: How often does the board of directors
meet?
A: The board meets monthly, usually on the last Monday of the month.
Q: Are there regular meetings for
owners?
A: An annual general meeting (AGM) is held each year. General
meetings are also held occasionally if there are particular concerns
to be addressed or new information to provide to owners.
