Governing Documents
A condominium is governed by a series of documents which you should have received and reviewed with your legal counsel when purchasing your home. If you require a printed copy, an additional copy may be obtained from Merit Property Management at a nominal charge.
Documentation consists of the Declaration, Bylaws and the rules and regulations. These documents address owners’ rights and obligations and empower the Board of Directors to manage the affairs of the condominium.
The above-mentioned documents are specific to each and every condominium corporation, but all condominium corporations must abide by the Nova Scotia Condominium Act.
